The Ministry of Health invites specialists to contribute to the improvement of e-health

To strengthen the interaction between national digital systems and everyday clinical practice, the Ministry of Health (SAM) invites specialists to become part of e-health transformation. A group of users and experts from the eHealth Specialist Portal and the Advance Patient Registration Information System (IPR IS) will be formed, becoming an important link in shaping current and future system changes and ensuring their practical application.

“Digital health tools must evolve alongside changes in the healthcare system and should serve those who use them, not the other way around. Therefore, we have decided to cooperate even more closely with the community of healthcare professionals. What matters to us is not only technical functionality, but also how these solutions integrate into the daily work of specialists. We believe that this kind of consistent involvement of experts will help create a convenient environment for everyday work,” says Vice Minister of Health Daniel Naumovas.

Specialists from various fields are invited to join the expert group: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, as well as reception staff and IT administrators of healthcare institutions. Their practical experience and knowledge will help to consistently improve the systems, ensuring that new solutions are user-friendly, clear, and organically integrated into the operations of healthcare institutions. Specialists’ insights will be used in developing or improving solutions that best meet their practical needs and help ensure higher-quality healthcare services across the country.

According to the Vice Minister of Health, the key objective of the expert group being formed is to ensure continuous dialogue between system developers and practitioners (users), helping to design solutions that integrate organically into digital tool management processes, reduce administrative burden, and increase process efficiency. Experts will have the opportunity to be the first to familiarize themselves with functional changes, evaluate their usability, and provide suggestions on how to further adapt digital tools to real working conditions.

All specialists who are willing and able to share their professional experience and directly contribute to changes in the digital health environment are invited to register by completing the official application form on the Ministry of Health’s website by March 2 (inclusive) of this year: https://forms.gle/mDLBjraQngiWL2Gd7

After the registration period ends, specialists in the relevant fields will be contacted using the details they have provided. Based on their indicated area of activity, they will be assigned to appropriate process modeling groups and invited to contribute their insights in the further stages of system development.
