From now on, "E. sveikata" (E-health) is also available to patients through a mobile app

From now on, patients will be able to register for doctor appointments more easily and access all the information available in the "E. sveikata" (E-health) system. The main administrator of the system, the Centre of Registers, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the patient community, has developed and is introducing the "E. sveikata" mobile app to the public.

In this app, patients will easily be able to find information about past and upcoming doctor visits, active referrals, medical certificates, issued electronic prescriptions, and their complete health history. The app will also allow for quick and convenient appointment registration.

"The mobile E. sveikata app is one of the tools and concrete steps to make it easier and more convenient for patients to access services when registering for doctor appointments. It is expected to contribute to a more transparent view of patient queues and also reduce bureaucratic workload for medical staff. The modernization of E. sveikata is one of our goals in easing the administrative burden on healthcare professionals and simplifying the process of accessing services for patients," - said Minister of Health Marija Jakubauskienė.

The Director General of the Centre of Registers, Adrijus Jusas, says that the mobile E. sveikata app was developed to make relevant personal health information even more conveniently accessible to patients.

“Until now, we could all access key information about doctor visits, view issued e-prescriptions, or register for appointments through the patient section of the esveikata.lt portal. From now on, all this information will be even more easily accessible — the mobile app was designed so that patients can find all the information they need as conveniently as possible,” says A. Jusas, adding that the patient portal itself is also planned to be updated in the near future.

He also points out that the mobile app was recently created and is continuously being developed, so there may be some issues in the beginning. Users are encouraged to submit any feedback or suggestions through the contacts provided in the app.

All your health data – in your pocket

Using the E. sveikata mobile app is easy – simply download the free app (search for "esveikata") from one of the mobile app stores (Google Play or App Store), and after verifying your identity with one of the available identification methods, you can log in to your patient portal.

Once logged in, patients can register for appointments with their family doctor or specialist, view scheduled or past doctor visits, check active, used, or expired referrals, review available certificates and, if needed, download them, and see their current or used e-prescriptions.

In addition, the calendar feature allows users to track upcoming doctor appointments, scheduled vaccination dates, and view past visits to healthcare facilities or pharmacies.

The app also conveniently provides access to the patient's entire health history from recent years: doctor visits, medical document records or referrals, vaccination records, laboratory test orders or results, the mandatory health checkup card, the driver's health examination certificate, and children's health certificates (from both the family doctor and dentist).

The mobile E. sveikata app allows users to easily switch to the patient portals of those they represent (children or individuals with authorization). It is also simple to create representation for another person, manage profile, and update contact information.

The E. sveikata mobile app was developed by the company Lexita under the orders of the Centre of Registers.
