Project “Improving the accessibility and quality of youth-friendly health care services in Elektrėnai municipality by implementing the model for provision of youth-friendly health care services” contract was signed

Amount of grant assistance and co-financing is 70 140,62 Eur

The projects aims to implement the developed model for provision of youth–friendly health care services (hereinafter referred to as “the Model”) in accordance with the needs of the municipality. The model will connect provision of the health care services into one system, improving their collaboration and efficiency of health care services provided to youth. During the project implementation Elektrėnai municipality will ensure, that needs of youth and youth health risk factors as well as other your problems will be taken into consideration, the Model will connect major part of youth in municipality and the Model will be implemented in a way to attract youth.

While implementing the project:

• youth–friendly health care services (hereinafter – YFHCS) coordinating center in Elektrėnai municipality Public health bureau will be established;
• YFHCS coordinating and case management function will be introducted and supported;
• Youth health portal at municipal level will be administer;
• 4 Algorithms in priority areas of the YFHCS provision will be adapted and applied at the municipal level;
• other activities (model presentation events, trainings) will be implemented.
