Project “Improvement of provision of health care services in school/ pre-school institutions of Tauragė, Pagėgiai and Plungė districts” contract was signed

Amount of grant assistance and co-financing is 248 842,66 Eur

New modern visual measures will help to present attractive information, and it will be easier for children to learn. Health education and health promotion training (with new equipment and tools) will have a great impact on children future, because it will develop their physical, mental, spiritual and social health. Health care professionals work with children and young people will reduce the use of tobacco, drugs and alcohol. More activities will be organized with new purchased measures and equipment, which will encourage a healthier lifestyle in the future and will reduce the level of various diseases. This will also help to save people’s money for drugs and treatment. This project will help to fully equip 39 health offices (20 in Tauragės District Municipality, 12 in Plungė district municipality and 7 in Pagėgių municipality).
