Project “Establishment and improvement of public health bureaux in educational institutions of Jonava” contract was signed

Amount of grant assistance and co-financing is 249 925,81 Eur

During implementation of the project is intended:

• to repair and equip 7 healthcare cabinets in the pre-school education institutions and equip all 9 healthcare cabinets in Jonava District with required equipment;
• to repair and equip 14 healthcare cabinets in the general education and professional education institutions, which are covering programs of general education, and equip all 21 health care cabinets in Jonava District with required equipment;
• to equip all 6 healthcare cabinets in the pre-school education institutions in Ukmerge District with required equipment;
• to equip all 14 healthcare cabinets in the general education and professional education institutions, which are covering programs of general education in Ukmerge District with required equipment.

During Project implementation it is intended to establish new and repair existing healthcare cabinets in Jonava and Ukmergė districts, which are intended to equip with all necessary equipment of heath care cabinets. This will create basis for high quality services of healthcare and disease prevention; as well as will create opportunities for kids to learn healthy lifestyle, healthy nutrition, first aid, physical activity, prevention of injuries, prevention of addictions, sexuality, and hygiene skills. Residents of target group will grow up healthy and will have required skills to prevent risk of disease or lower consequences of disease by getting all required services of healthcare and by getting ability to educate required skills.
