The Incredible Years Programme

The Incredible Yearsdeliver evidence-based, cost-effective programmes and materials that develop positive parent–child relationships and assist in preventing and solving behavioural problems and promoting social, emotional, and academic competence in childhood. The effectiveness of the USA-developed programme is based on more than 30 years of experience and international implementation in such countries like the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Norway, Finland, Russia, Australia and others.

Objective: to strengthen the skills of positive parenting by implementing the module of the Incredible Years programme in Lithuania.

Expected Result

  • 1 training programme module (Preschool Basic Parent Programme) adapted in Lithuania;
  • 40 group leaders trained.

Impact

840 parents will be trained, intervention will reach 500 children.
