Curriculum Vitae

Gintaras Maželis holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in economic informatics from Vilnius University.

Before assuming the role of Advisor to the Minister of Health, he served as Head of Business Development at the financial technology company "ConnectPay," where he was responsible for developing financial solutions for business clients in the Baltic states. Previously, he spent four years leading the Vilnius region for the insurance company "Compensa Vienna Insurance group" and served as the Eastern Region Director of the Lithuanian branch of ERGO Insurance AS, where he was responsible for the region’s operational results, sales growth, and team management.

While leading UAB "Vilniaus viešasis transportas," he implemented the company’s reorganization, optimized operational processes, and introduced measures to improve financial efficiency. As CEO of AS "UniCredit Bank," he was responsible for the operations of the bank’s corporate client divisions, strategic planning, and budget management. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the board at international "Linas Agro Group" companies in Latvia and was a partner in an investment project in the real estate development sector.
