Curriculum Vitae

Edita Gudišauskienė received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in thermal engineering, a master’s degree in finance, and a master’s degree in public administration and regional development from Kaunas University of Technology.

The Vice-Minister has more than 20 years of managerial and expert experience in the public sector, local government, healthcare institutions, and business organizations. For 16 years, E. Gudišauskienė served as a member of the Kaunas City Council; she worked as the director of the municipal administration and as an advisor to the mayor and chaired the Budget and Finance Committee as well as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commissions. She also served as a member of the Kaunas Regional Development Council and as the head of various community organizations.

Before assuming the position of Vice-Minister of Health, E. Gudišauskienė worked as a project manager at the Kaunas Clinics of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, where she oversaw the hospital’s strategic planning, risk management, and legislative projects. Previously, she served as an advisor to the Minister of Agriculture, executive director of the Kaunas Region Industrialists and Employers Association, head of the finance department at UAB “Kauno autobusai,” and as an assistant to a member of the Seimas.

Her professional interests, management expertise, and practical experience encompass strategic management, public sector finance and budget planning, public administration optimization, regional development, and community engagement.
