Curriculum Vitae

Chancellor Evaldas Raistenskis holds a Master of Law degree from Vilnius University and a Doctor of Law degree from Daugavpils University. Author and co-author of international scientific publications, participant of conferences.

Prior to assuming the position of Chancellor of the Ministry of Health, E. Raistenskis, appointed by the Prime Minister, headed the Tax Disputes Commission under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania for a period of four years, prior to which he had been a member of this Commission.

He still works as a senior researcher at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, and teaches seminars on the special part of criminal law. He has also worked as a lawyer in various administrative departments of Vilnius University.
