Curriculum Vitae
Vice Minister A. Galdikas graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences with a degree in medicine and is a certified anesthesiologist-intensivist.
Before becoming Vice Minister of Health, A. Galdikas worked as an anesthesiologist-intensivist at Klaipėda University Hospital and as an advisor to a member of the Seimas. A. Galdikas has also worked at the Klaipėda Red Cross Hospital, where he managed the resuscitation and intensive care unit and was responsible for organizing and ensuring emergency medical services in the Klaipėda region. Later, at the Klaipėda Jūrininkų Hospital, A. Galdikas managed the Cardiology Resuscitation and Intensive Care Unit.
The Deputy Minister also served as chief physician at institutions providing rehabilitation and primary healthcare services. He taught pharmacology, resuscitation, and intensive care to future nurses at the universities of Klaipėda and Vilnius.
