The decision concerning the award of the assistance for the Projects under the measure “Improvement of the provision of health care services in schools and pre-school institutions”
On 12 January the Decision concerning the award of the assistance (available only in lithuanian) for the four projects under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009–2014 Programme “Public Health Inequalities” measure “Improvement of the provision of health care services in schools and pre-school institutions” (hereinafter – Decision) was approved by the Order V-24 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania:

Project title: Improvement of health care service provision in school/ pre-school institutions in Šalčininkai district, Vilnius district and Vilnius city municipalities
Project promoter: Vilnius city municipal public health bureau
Project value: 246 576,47 Eur (851 379,22 Lt)
2. Project application code: NOR-LT11-SAM-01-K-02-014
Project title: Improvement of health care services provision in school/ pre-school institutions in Marijampolė municipality
Project promoter: Marijampolė district municipal public health bureau
Project value: 215 638,93 Eur (744 558,09 Lt)
3. Project application code: NOR-LT11-SAM-01-K-02-004
Project title: Improvement of health care services provided in school/ pre-school institutions in Pasvalys and Biržai district municipalities
Project promoter: Pasvalys district municipal public health bureau
Project value: 245 988,60 Eur (849 349,44 Lt)
4. Project application code: NOR-LT11-SAM-01-K-02-008
Project title: Establishment and improvement of public health bureaux in educational institutions of Jonava
Project promoter: Jonava district municipality administration
Project value: 249 925,81 Eur (862 943,84 Lt)
According to the Decision 21 project was put on the reserve list (available only in lithuanian), thus recommending for financing in case project promoters to whom funding was allocated would refuse to sign project contracts or additional funding was allocated to the Programme measure “Improvement of the provision of health care services in schools and pre-school institutions”.
Purpose of the Measure – to improve the provision of health care services in the institutions implementing pre-school and /or pre-primary school education programs and schools of general education or vocational training schools implementing primary, basic or secondary education programs.
IMPORTANT. Eligible project expenditures may be incurred and paid from the day of entry into force of the decision of the Ministry of Health concerning the award of the assistance for the project (not only from the day of entry into force of the project contract).
