Project “Improvement of the health services network in schools and pre-school institutions in Mažeikiai district municipality” contract was signed

Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania announces that on 8 April 2015 the trilateral Project “Improvement of the health services network in schools and pre-school institutions in Mažeikiai district municipality” contract was signed.

Project promoter – Mažeikiai district municipal public health bureau

Amount of grant assistance and co-financing is 242 674,98 Eur

The goal of the project is to improve the environment of overall health care and health promotion services in pre-educational and educational institutions. The implementation of project activities (arrangement of 36 health care offices, located in the educational institutions of Mažeikiai region) will help in solving problems and stimulation of positive changes related to the health situation in Mažeikiai region. Afterwards, the additional equipment will be purchased, enabling the provision of comprehensive health care and health education services to children.
