Project “Improvement of health cares service provision in school / pre-school institutions in Lazdijai district, Druskininkai, Alytus district and Kalvarijos municipalities institutions” contract was signed

Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania announces that on 8 April 2015 the trilateral Project “Improvement of health cares service provision in school/ pre-school institutions in Lazdijai district, Druskininkai, Alytus district and Kalvarijos municipalities institutions” contract was signed.

Project promoter – Lazdijai district municipal public health bureau

Project partner – Druskininkai municipal public health bureau, Alytus district municipal public health bureau, Kalvarija municipal administration

Amount of grant assistance and co-financing is 249 546,61 Eur

Planned project comprises activities which are closely related to improvement in provision of health care services in the territory of four municipalities: Lazdijai region, Druskininkai, Alytus region and Kalvarija. It is intended with this project to improve accessibility to health care services through renewal of health officies and installation of proper equipment. Overall number of health cabinets to be renewed – 35 officies. Out of these officies, 26 are planned to include minor works. All health officies involved in the project are going to be provided with basic equipment.
