Project “Improvement of health care services provision in school/ pre-school institutions in Marijampolė municipality” contract was signed

Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania announces that on 26 February 2015 the trilateral Project “Improvement of health care services provision in school/ pre-school institutions in Marijampolė municipality” contract was signed.

Project promoter – Marijampolė district municipal public health bureau

Amount of grant assistance and co-financing is 215 638,93 Eur

After implementation of the Project, quality of health care service provision in school / pre-school institutions in Marijampolė district will be improved. Fascinating working tools acquired during the implementation of the Project will allow more effective health training, will intrigue young people, will stimulate selection of healthy way of leisure time spending, will form the culture of a healthy lifestyle and will reduce the likelihood of risky behaviour. The skills of healthy lifestyle will be applied in the future by the schoolchildren who have acquired them at educational institutions and consolidated in their families, i.e. a general health condition of the municipal population will improve, the health discrepancies which will positively affect socio-economic changes in Marijampolė municipality will decrease.
