Call to applicants for obtaining assistance under the measure “Improvement of the provision of health care services in schools and pre-school institutions” under the Programme LT11 “Public Health Initiatives” of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009−2014
27 June 2014 Central Projects Management Agency announced the call to applicants (No. NOR-LT11-SAM-01-K-02) under the measure “ Improvement of the provision of health care services in schools and pre-school institutions” under the Programme LT11 “Public Health Initiatives” of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009−2014. The purpose of the measure – is to improve the provision of health care services in schools and pre-school education institutions.
Supported activities:
1. regular repairs of health office in schools / pre-school education institutions;
2. acquisition of health offices furniture and other equipment (equipment for assessing public health risk factors and the environment of a school / pre-school education institution, equipment for the development of healthy lifestyle skills, information communication technology means, methodical means) needed for health care purposes at schools / pre-school education institutions and included in the list of essential equipment for health offices of schools / pre-school education institutions (Annex 9 to the Guidelines) or the list of supplementary equipment for health offices of schools / pre-school education institutions (Annex 9 to the Guidelines).
Eligible applicants are:
1. municipal public health bureaus;
2. municipal administration and municipal administrations (on the basis of co-operation agreements and with the decision of the councils of municipalities).
In order to use the minimum amount of funding requested for the project application, the applicant can apply both independently and jointly with a partner(s).
Eligible partners are:
1. municipal public health bureaus;
2. municipality administrations.
The applicant and his partner(s) must meet eligibility requirements laid down in the Eligibility assessment methodology (Annex 2 to the Guidelines).
Total budget of the call – LTL 4.013.389,70 (EUR 1.162.358,00).
Minimum and maximum amount of funding available for the project. Minimum amount available for the project – LTL 690.560 (EUR 200.000). Maximum amount available for the project – LTL 863.200 (EUR 250.000)
Maximum intensity of the support. The grant and co-financing funds make up 100 per cent of the total eligible project expenditures.
The starting and the final date for submitting the application. The starting date for submitting the application: 27 June 2014 at 8.00 am. The final date for submitting the application: 27 August 2014 at 5.00 pm.
Applications may be sent:
1. by registered mail (an application shall be deemed to be delivered in time, when the date of the postal seal on the envelope is not later than the last day for submitting the applications);
2. by courier (an application shall be deemed to be delivered in time, when the date and time of its delivery to the courier indicated on the envelope is not later than the last day for submitting the applications);
3. delivered personally to the Central Project Management Agency.
