Bilateral cooperation funding granted to Alytus city, Pasvalys district and Plungė district municipalities
March 16, 2015 call for proposals under the Programme LT11 “Public Health Initiatives” of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009−2014 (hereafter – Programme) Bilateral Cooperation fund measure A was closed. In total three applications for implantation of bilateral contact establishment activities were received. Bilateral Fund Selection Committee gathered on March 23, 2015 has evaluated the eligibility of applications, approved activities of all three applications and decided to allocate Bilateral funding to implementation of the following measures:
1. Activity „Public health initiatives in Alytus“, to be implemented by Alytus city municipality administration. It is foreseen in April 2015 to organise a visit of representatives of Alytus city municipality (2 persons), Public health bureau (1 person), Alytus polyclinics (1 person) to Lyngdal municipality with the aim to establish contacts, become acquainted with provision of youth friendly health care services and prepare for submitting application for implementation of youth friendly health care services provision model.
2. Activity “Study visit to Bjerkreim municipality (3 persons)”, to be implemented by Plungė district municipality administration. It is foreseen in May 2015 to organise a visit of three representatives from Plungė municipality to Bjerkreim municipality, with the aim to establish contacts, become acquainted with Norwegian experience and prepare for submitting application for implementation of youth friendly health care services provision model. During the visit meetings and discussions will take place in Bjerkreim, Egersund, Time (Bryne) municipalities, Health station, Mental health centre, family clinics, sport centre, Vikesa school, etc.
3. Activity „Partner search – visit to Drangedal commune, Norway“, to be implemented by Pasvalys district municipality administration. It is foreseen in June 2015 to organise a visit of three representatives of Pasvalys district municipality administration and three health care specialists to Drangedal municipality. During the visit there are foreseen meetings with policians and representatives of Drangedal municipality, responsible for health care, visits to establishments providing health care services to youth and prepare for submitting application for implementation of youth friendly health care services provision model.
