Updated list of countries for mandatory 14-day isolation upon return

The list of countries most affected by the coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was updated on 31 July to take effect as of 3 August. Territories are deemed to be virus-affected, where coronavirus incidence rate exceeds 16 cases per 100 000 population in the last 14 days.

Changes in the list of European countries: isolation will be mandatory for arrivals from France and Malta

The Ministry of Health has updated the list of countries whose citizens or persons lawfully residing in them will be allowed entry to Lithuania. Due to the deterioration in the epidemiological situation in France, arrivals from France will be allowed subject to 14-day mandatory isolation as of 3 August.

COVID-19-related restrictions (updated on 30 July 2020)

On 16 June 24:00, the three-month long quarantine ended. As of 17 June, emergency situation regime with the following restrictions applied. As of 1 August, protective face masks are mandatory on public transport and in enclosed shops and service provision spaces.

Face masks to be mandatory again in shops and service points

As of 1 August, protective face masks will become mandatory again to wear on public transport and in enclosed shopping and service provision locations. The Government approved the decision on Wednesday, 29 July.
